Young Republicans were kicked out of a President Barack Obama event after being deemed a security threat. President Obama was once again on a teleprompter infused speaking tour stumping for his ill-fated jobs plan when the group of 10 college students was turned away from the University of Central Missouri venue.
The Republican college students had purchased tickets to the Obama speech and had not engaged in any disruptive behavior. The students apparently posed a security threat merely because they were wearing “Tea Party T-shirts and patriotic or Republican-inspired clothing,” according to the incident report.
